We are looking for Temporary Accommodation Officer to join the team on a full time, FTC basis (12 months). As a temporary accommodation officer, you will arrange and manage placements of homeless clients in a range of temporary accommodation, assist in the management and monitoring of temporary accommodation in respect to supply and demand. You will be a point of contact for both tenants and providers for management of temporary accommodation placements. You will ensure Housing Benefit is claimed and carry out inspections. You will work with tenants to ensure they adhere to license conditions. You will work with payments officer to ensure value for money is being achieved.
To be successful in this post, good level of basic education Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation and Private Sector Housing issues is essential. It is also essential that you have experience of working with vulnerable residents and working in times of change. You should be able to manage and priorities own workload. Experience of good organizational and time management skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for this role.
You must be proficient in the use of MS Office/ Office 365 .
