Your new role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Administrator to join the Customer Support planning, building control, private sector housing and selective licensing sub hub on a full time and permanent basis to provide administration support to various front line operational teams in the Organisation & Customer support hub.

 

This contract is offered on a hybrid basis which is a combination of working from home and office. As a member of our Customer Support hub you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including:

• Validating planning and building control applications

• Carrying out history searches

• Processing planning appeals

• Preparing information for committees

• Erecting site notices

• Liaising with bus companies

• Diverting bus routes

• Processing selective licensing applications

• Administrative tasks for private sector housing Processing events and filming applications

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, with good IT skills. A passion to exceed service expectations by being friendly, professional, collaborative, and responsive. You will also be able to build strong relationships both internally and externally. The ability to move around the different hubs within the service. The ability to travel to other sites in the city of Southend-on-Sea.
