Your new role

We are looking for knowledgeable EHC coordinators (x2) to join either our assessment or casework teams on a full time, temporary contract basis (31st March 2026). This role is offered on a hybrid basis which is a blend of working from home and office (ideally 2 days in office but negotiable) or attending meetings around the city.

 

As an EHCP coordinator, you will manage either a caseload of active EHC plans or new EHC assessments, drafting EHC plans, attending annual reviews and/or amending EHC plans as necessary. Caseload size of around 250 for active EHC assessments or caseload of around 40 new assessments at any one time

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, excellent understanding of the necessary legislation, SEND Code of Practice, Children and Families Act 2014 is essential. You must be able to write high quality, legally compliant EHC plans following our internal quality assurance processes. Excellent interpersonal skills to support children and families through the annual review processes and to support schools understanding. Highly motivated and the ability to work independently with excellent organisational skills to ensure priority actions are being met.
