Your new role

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for delivering campaigns that make a real difference? Southend-on-Sea City Council is looking for an ambitious and innovative Campaigns and Insights Advisor to lead the development and delivery of high-profile communications and engagement campaigns that influence behaviour, strengthen communities and support the Council’s priorities. You will work closely with colleagues across the Communications and Engagement Team, council services, community partners and senior stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns across a wide range of channels. From consultation and engagement activity to internal communications and employee engagement surveys, you will ensure communications are inclusive, accessible and tailored to the needs of different audiences.

The role also offers the opportunity to shape and grow key communication channels, develop innovative approaches to engagement, commission high-quality creative content, and provide expert advice to services on campaign planning, consultation and stakeholder engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys combining creativity, strategy, insight and data to deliver campaigns that have a lasting impact on our organisation and our communities.
